KUALA LUMPUR: Jenayah kolar putih memberi kesan lebih menggerunkan berbanding jenayah konvensional kerana ia berpotensi menjejaskan prestasi kewangan organisasi komersial di negara ini, kata Timbalan Ketua Polis Negara, Tan Sri Ismail Omar.
Berdasarkan hakikat itu, beliau berkata kerajaan amat memandang berat terhadap isu berkaitan jenayah kewangan, penipuan dan rasuah.
“Jenayah kolar putih atau jenayah ekonomi, berlaku dalam pelbagai bentuk, termasuk rasuah, jenayah siber, penyelewengan aset, penipuan cek dan kad kredit, kecurian kad pengenalan, penipuan insurans, pengubahan wang haram dan pengeluaran wang palsu.
“Kesalahan utama lain ialah pecah amanah, penipuan, penghasilan wang palsu dan ceti haram,” katanya.
Dalam tempoh Januari hingga Ogos tahun ini, Jabatan Siasatan Jenayah Perdagangan (JSJP) menganggarkan jenayah ekonomi telah mengakibatkan kerugian berjumlah RM546,114,099.
Jumlah kerugian pada tahun lepas ialah RM1,988,959,883, manakala pada tahun sebelumnya, kerugian akibat perbuatan itu dilaporkan berjumlah RM833,453,263.

Perkembangan teknologi maklumat dan komunikasi (ICT) terutama dengan Internet sebagai
pemangkin, menyaksikan wujudnya persaingan dalam semua urusan, termasuk dalam urusan
perdagangan dan perniagaan. Syarikat atau organisasi yang bijak memanfaatkan segala
teknologi yang wujud dan merebut peluang yang datang akan dapat terus bersaing dan
mengukuhkan kedudukan mereka dalam persekitaran ekonomi yang bersifat kompetitif—
lebih-lebih lagi dalam era ekonomi digital. Industri penerbitan media—yang memberikan
sumbangan yang tidak terhingga nilainya kepada tamadun manusia—juga tidak ketinggalan
dalam memanfaatkan teknologi dan media baharu ini. Aktiviti pemasaran dan penyebaran

Pengasas Komputer Apple meninggal dunia
Siapa tak kenal dengan seorang tokoh dunia IT yang bernama Steve Jobs. Beliau adalah pengasas Apple yang mana sudah dikenali dan digunakan di seluruh dunia bagi memenuhi keperluan manusia dalam perhubungan. Sejak dulu lagi Apple telah menyumbangkan pelbagai kemudah terutamanya sari segi aplikasi komputer dan mobile.
Beliau lahir di San Francisco pada 24 Februari 1955 dan meninggal dunia pada usia 56 tahun (6 oktober 2011,khamis) yang menjadikan satu kehilangan besar buat dunia.
Beliau meninggal dunia akibat kanser pankreas.
Terkejut juga aku bila mendengar kematiannya kerana ia sangat dikenali dan aku suka dengan hasil produknya yang pernah dikeluarkan, tapi apa yang menyedihkan adalah beliau meninggal dunia selepas satu hari melancarkan produk terbarunya iaitu iPhone 4S yang baru dikeluarkan…
Sangat menyedihkan dengan pemergiannya ini dan aku tidak pasti pengantinya selepas ini sehebat beliau atau tidak.
